Almost perfect jeans!

I ordered these in 10 & 8 med length. 10 a little generous at seat and thigh, but 8 fit perfectly.
Wasit a little uncomfortable when sat down- the button & fastening digs in - likely because there's not quite enough dip at the front with these.
Upper part of waistband was fine, but where stitched on, rather rigid and has little give.
Such good jeans otherwise, I persevered, and they gave a little on that waistband.
I really do prefer slightly below waist at the front as it causes no discomfort/bulges when sitting.
Leg length on 5'4" is perfect, beautifully close at thigh to knee, then have a neat boot cut.
Hips/seat fit really neatly, back waist doesn't gape.
Fabric excellent: substantial yet soft. Doesn't go out of shape at the knee or seat easily.
When washed, I used a stretched expanding hanger at the waist to dry them naturally, and they are now more comfortable.
Would like to see that front fastening area a little lower cut & a neater button. Apart from that, super fit & value.

Not doing well with M&S trouser sizing generally but these jeans are a must, bought one pair and then ordered two more, great fit, amazing price - well worth having in the wardrobe.

Excellent value for money. Ordered 14 and 16 as I wasn't sure about the size. I am usually a 14 but they were too small. 16 fit great, ordered medium length and this was just right for me, Nice feel ty the material and very comfy to wear. Will be ordering another pair and will get the blue ones too.
