At last, decent trousers for slim boys
Date:19 November 2013
I purchased 2 pairs of these school trousers for my Grandson whose waist is very slim. These trousers fit beautifully and look so smart.

Too big in the waist
Date:11 November 2013
These trousers are fairly good quality but they are much too big in the waist for a slim fit trouser.

Excellent trousers! How can M&S have no stock now?
Date:7 September 2013
Great fit, lovely to have slim fit trousers for my slim but tall son.
We need another pair though and there are none to be had anywhere! It's the beginning of September and there are only age 4-6 available online; and none at all in Guildford store.
Combined with a complete lack of any white school shirts at Guildford store (except age 4), I have to ask M&S: is this really how you want things to be?
It's a well known fact that children grow substantially during summer holidays (mine certainly have), so surely it's reasonable to conclude that having stock of basic uniform items would be helpful in September as well as July?
Next year I shall buy three ages of everything in July!

Why change the sizing M&S? Thin material
Date:2 September 2013
Why change the sizing from age specific i.e. 8yrs, 9yrs, etc. to now being 9-10 years, 11-12 years and so on? Also last year could buy longer and shorted length in the slim fit (was called modern fit last year) but can't this year, only in the classic fit, so to get a longer length I have had to buy a larger size which looks big and baggy defeating the object of "slim fit " and looks rubbish. The material also is very thin and see through. Both my boys are not happy with the fit of these trousers, and nor am I knowing how good they looked last year.
