I agree with previous that these are some of the most comfortable control knickers I have worn in ages. Yes, sizing is slightly large, so be careful. I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to call these high waist - they are just normal traditional style kind of shape - but none the worse for it.

Very pretty knickers but they come up quite large in size......ordered another pair but went for 2 sizes smaller.

I would reccomend this girdle to anyone.they are amazingly comfortable all day long and unlike many other brands the waist stays put.my tummy and hips are nicely controlled and overall give me a nice shape.The bonus is they also look pretty with the lace panel.If you need to wear a panty girdle this has to be the one.
