only green shoots when delivered.

I bought these for my wife and expected to receive them in bloom as shown on the web site,however they are not in flower when delivered but are just green shoots waiting to open into flowers.
It was 3 or 4 days before they started to show some colour.Clearly they will last longer but they are a disappointing display when you have to present them on the day of delivery.

When flowers arrived on Saturday some were already open, and by mid-week many were past their best. By Friday most were gone, and only a few lasted until Saturday.

80 Green Stems !!

Please be aware that these flowers are shipped as buds, rather than open flowers!
My wife received these today and was confronted with a mass of green stems rather than the mass of colour as displayed on this items photograph.
To say that both she and I were disappointed is an understatement!
I'm sure that over the next few days the flowers will bloom and provide the colourful spectacle expected. But to not order these for a specific special day.
