100 stem Bouquet

I purchased this bouquet for my partner's birthday, when they arrived she split them between 2 vases, with a mixture of tulips and daffodils in each one. The next morning all the tulips in both vases were dead and drooping from the vases.
Whilst researching why this might have happened, we discovered that daffodils cannot be kept in vases with any other flowers, as they secrete a serum which kills other flowers.
I am extremely disappointed with this bouquet, if there had been instructions enclosed which explained this, we would not have lost half of this £30 bouquet within 24 hours. I suggest M&S takes steps to rectify this issue.
