Superb quality in one so small! I bought mine to use in the garden and its ideal to pop into your pocket. Reception is excellent. Go on treat yourself!

OXX DAB pocket radio

Saved the post & packing charge by having it delivered to my local M&S store, and am very pleased with the radio. Initial tuning has to be done outside to pick up all channels, but after that it works fine indoors. Earphones are suprisingly good.

I couldn't believe my ears when I first used this radio. I've cycled through 3 different radios and this one is far best by a mile. The reception is it's strongest point. You practically never get dropped, and when you do it's for half a second only.
I was skeptical when i read all the positive reviews, i thought it was all a set up. Buy one and you'll see for yourself, reception is ACE.
My only wish was that the buttons would have been hard and not rubberized. The rubber ones are harder to use, then I guess it stops the radio buttons from accidentally being pressed in your pocket.

Does what it says on the tin !!

After looking for a handy pocket radio for some time, I spotted a glowing review about this tiny radio on a technology website and took the plunge.
I'm very glad I did so as it's excellent and does the job very well.
Outdoor reception is terrific and the sound is very clear (an added bonus is the excellent tangle-fee Jays earphones which are included in the price and which themselves get good reviews)
Indoor reception is not very good and in fact you need to do the scanning for stations outdoors to get best results. Also as the earphones act as the aerial you need to keep them dangling to optimise the reception (ie. you can't just stuff the excess cable length into your pocket !!)
Oxx is a Scandinavian manufacturer presently not well-known in the UK but apparently its reputation is growing, especially in Australia, and, judging from the quality of this pocket radio, it will soon be a name to reckon with across here too.
