Good value for money but disappointed that the waist was elasticated - I feel I'm wearing yoga/pilates trousers. Need a tunic or long shirt/blouse to achieve a smooth look.

These trousers are very comfy and the fit is true to size, the material felt nice so i kept them, however I have only worn them for one day and the material has all bobbled between the thighs. So will not be buying anymore. If I could get these exact pants in a different material I would love them.

Good for casual wear

Was in two minds about buying these, having read the reviews but wanted cheap casuals for dog walking so gave them a try. The material feels like more of a winter knit but the fit is good and they are comfortable to wear and are quite a nice shape. The downside is that they are short - I'm 5ft 10 and ordered size 'L' but can only just get away with them in flats or walking shoes. I suspect they will shrink when washed. M&S really needs to look at the consistency of its sizing as it's a struggle for tall people to find the right length in trousers or tops and it's far too much of a lottery when buying online!

Lovely trousers

Flattering for a short pearshape like me. Comfortable but quite smart - can dress them up and down with a smart or casual top.
