Good shape but more gym than 'formal', and they do bobble

These trousers are very comfortable, fit nicely (although a close fit will show any unflattering features), they lie flat on the stomach since they have an elasticated waste so no zips or buttons [the product description is wrong as you can see from the photo , and I do love them in brown. I have only had them a couple for days so cannot verify how well they wash yet. On the downside though I do not see these trousers as being 'formal' as their casual hang and the material itself feel more like workout trousers than evening or work wear.

As an update to this review I can now confirm that these trousers sadly do 'bobble' rather quickly after a few days wear and with gentle washing. I now can only see them as having a rather short lifespan and am feeling increasingly disappointed with this purchase. I would change my review to one star now.

Brown Jersey trousers

These are very comfy to wear and wash well.

But please M&S why out of stock of the brown? I agree with the other reviewer, the most
popular sizes should be more plentiful, and more colurs please, dark grey, blackcurrant,
dark green for instance. I've got 3 pairs and they are all black ! Also more short length please
we are no all 6ft giants !

Brown trousers

Why is are there always plenty of choice for black trousers and yet so difficult to get good fitting ones in brown? Surely the lack of brown stock in the average sizes proves the point!

Poor quality

I've bought many pairs of jersey trousers from M&S but this time the fabric is a thin poor quality -- it went bobbly the first time I washed them. A waste of £15.
